Train Like A 'Kang'

After finally regaining my consciousness following University of Kentucky's James Young's "assault on human life" dunk in the men's NCAA Championship game against UConn, I caught Powerade's added-value enhancement Zero Drops spot, which gives fans the chance to see how Lebron James trains.

LebronTime, is a nearly 60-minute workout routine, featuring Lebron being led through a series of interval drills with pro basketball trainer Mike Mancias. LBJ takes viewers through a circuit of exercises which include everything from heart rate-inducing jump rope drills, spot-up jumpers, and resistance band work.

Whew!  I'm tired already!

So, whether you're an aspiring NBA hooper, fitness enthusiast, or just someone who doesn't want to have a "fat summer" *raises hand*, peep the video below so you can get right in time for the outdoor season.

Thirsty For Lebron?

No, this isn't slander for the influx of Heat fans after "The Decision".

The 4x MVP and 2x NBA Champ teamed up with Sprite to release his own limited-edition drink - Sprite 6 Mix. The drink will feature its traditional lemon-lime flavor in addition to cherry and orange. Per ESPN.com, Lebron said, "I never imagined I would have my own flavor someday. I had a great time working with the Sprite team to turn my favorite flavors into a pretty cool variation of one of my favorite brands. I'm proud of what we created and I'm excited for my fans to try it."

Will you be 'taking your talents' down to the bodega to pick up a bottle?

My (Court) Vision

Hey everyone - Nik here!

Welcome to The Sportstyle!

This is my first time blogging, and I'm super nervous.  In fact, my butt is tighter than Nick Anderson's after that 4th missed free throw in the '95 NBA Finals (sorry, Nick)!

Anyway, I created this platform because I'm an opinionated sports fan, and wanted to develop an informal community for anyone who is just as nosy as I am about the everyday lives of athletes inside and outside of their profession.  I'm also looking to spotlight folks who 'makes it do what it do' behind the scenes in sports, fitness, and entertainment (if y'all only knew how hard they work).

I love "the game", so I hope you'll rock with me if want to chop it up about everything from new fitness products and workouts, to being in the loop about sporting and charity events.

Peace and love,

Nik
